Ashley Monroe’s cancer has been revealed. Ashley has shared a piece of heartbreaking news with her fans following her devastating cancer diagnosis on July 13, 2021.

“Til It Breaks” singer shared on her Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that she has been suffering from a rare form of blood cancer.

It is said that doctors decided to do a bone marrow biopsy on her after her red blood count kept falling after they discovered that she was suffering from anemia.

She thanked all her friends and family under her sharing post by saying how grateful she is for having flowers sent to her weekly and for the support.

Ashley shared more details due to her blood cancer and her current location on a staycation in Nashville after canceling a trip to Florida before opening up on her diagnosis.

She shared: “Enjoying a staycation in Nashville when we had to cancel our Florida trip. Sitting with my sisters the day I found out. Seeing John be my rock and the best dad to Dalton, and being surrounded (and prayed for) by the best friends (and family and manager) I could ever dream up.”

She added: “A few months ago my dr. was doing some routine lab work and found that I was anemic. I was like, FINE, I’ll just double up on cheeseburger patties, take some extra vitamins and call it a day.”

sharing more valuable information, she said: “Well my red blood count just kept falling, and they found out my iron /b12/ folic acid numbers were actually fine. Short story long, they did a bone marrow biopsy, (ouch), and VOILA.. a rare kind of blood c word called ‘waldenstrom macroglobulinemia.”
