Story of Kate Quigley’s Overdose Supported by Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker is supporting his ex-girlfriend Kate Quigley after her near-fatal overdose. On Friday, September 17, Darius Rucker talked about Kate Quigley’s overdose at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas: “You know, she’s doing great. She’s coming out of that. I’m glad that she’s doing that.”

Kate Quigley and three other comedians Fuquan “Fu” Johnson and Enrico Colangeli, and friend Natalie Williamson, were hospitalized earlier this month after using cocaine that had been laced with fentanyl at a party in Venice, California.

What Happend to Comedian Kate Quigley after Overdose?

Comedian Kate Quigley and her friends were allegedly using cocaine that may have been laced with fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid and painkiller 80 to 100 times stronger than morphine.

The day after the shocking incident, her mother, Fran Wyles, wrote on Facebook that her daughter was recovering slowly. She spent almost a week in the hospital and took to Twitter on Sunday, September 12, to update fans on her recovery, saying: “I am better every day. I’m sore.”

She also tweeted a raunchy picture of herself holding a football, showing her support for the 3-time NFL champions owned by Stan Kroenke.

The day before, on September 11, she posted a message saying she was shocked and devastated by the loss of her three friends. “Words cannot describe the pain I am feeling,” she said on paying tribute to the three victims.

She wrote: “I feel overwhelmed by the outpouring of kind messages and am incredibly grateful to be surrounded by a strong community of friends, family, colleagues, and fans who have offered their support during this time; and to the team of paramedics, nurses, and doctors who saved my life.”

Now, after many days, she was seen out in Los Angeles for the first time after that fentanyl-laced cocaine overdose that left her hospitalized and killed three of her friends at a house party.
