The anti-choice activist dubbed as the “pro-life Spiderman” was detained after climbing the 1,070-foot-tall Salesforce Tower in San Francisco. This achievement was performed without the use of a safety rope or harness by the 22-year-old. Law enforcement officers apprehended the suspect after ascending all 61 storeys to the roof’s summit.

The increase occurs just one day after a draught Roe v. Wade decision was leaked. This 1973 Supreme Court decision, which legalised abortion in the United States, is likely to be overturned.

The college student began rock climbing at the age of 16. He’s currently pursuing a finance degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Deschamps claims he ascended the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas in 2021 in protest of covid regulations.

When asked if he regretted climbing the Salesforce building, he responded, “No… it was fun.” “If I had to do it all over again, I would.”

The college student ascended the entire tower, pausing only to check his social media accounts on his phone. According to accounts, he had been planning the climb for a month and had used Google Maps to locate the structure.

The anti-abortion activist intends to raise $1 million to help “save lives” by funding pro-life organisations.
